ZTrust, a Single Sign-On solution developed by Prodevans, simplifies Omnichannel Identity and Access Management, making user login and onboarding processes more efficient and secure. ZTrust ensures ease of access to multiple applications with just one click, enhancing user experience while maintaining robust security measures.

2. Key Features and Updates: What You Need to Know

During the past few months, ZTrust Team has spent a large amount of efforts to add new features in order to make it more user-friendly and convenient.

2.1. New Welcome Page

The updated Welcome page on ZTrust is now more user-friendly and convenient, offering an improved experience for easier access to essential features and information.

2.2. Import/Export tabs removed

The Import and Export tabs in the Admin Console have been removed. Import and export options are now available at the realm, client, and other relevant levels, streamlining the process by reducing the bulk of data handled and improving overall efficiency.

2.3. Changes in Identity Providers Tab

The Identity Providers tab now includes all essential providers for ZTrust integration, allowing users to easily select their preferred social media configuration and enter details. This user-friendly setup saves time and simplifies the process.

2.4. Changes in Brute Force Protection

The new Brute Force Protection setting allows administrators to temporarily or permanently block user logins, enhancing security and protecting against threats. Options include temporary lockout, permanent block, or a permanent block after a temporary lockout.

2.5. User profile

The new User Profile tab lets administrators customize user attributes based on organizational needs. Beyond the four default attributes, they can add more, set mandatory ones, and decide if users can edit them, offering greater flexibility and control.

2.6. User Registration

The new User Registration tab consolidates default groups and roles, automatically assigning new users to specified groups and roles. This streamlined approach simplifies management under one unified tab.

2.7. Effective Message Bundle

The Message Bundle feature has been introduced. Administrators can group translations for easier management. With new filtering options, they can search by theme, language, and more, streamlining translations for better efficiency.

2.8. Theme

New themes, including an Admin theme, are now available in the Themes tab. Users can customize the admin console's appearance to match their organization's style, offering greater flexibility and alignment with your unique design preferences.

2.9. Clearly Defined tabs

Now, each tab comes with a basic definition, making it easier for administrators to understand and configure various settings and features.

2.10. AA Compliant

ZTrust is now accessible to a wide range of users, with or without disabilities, ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.0 Level AA standards.

The prerequisites for ZTrust include the following:

  • Any Linux OS or Containerization Platform PaaS (Kubernetes or Redhat OpenShift)

  • Quarkus Runtime

The technology stack needed by ZTrust is outlined as follows:

  • Angular JS, Bootstrap, Freemaker, PatternFly

  • REST Easy

  • JPA, Jackson 2.x, Apache HTTP Server, Wildfly Server, Quarkus Framework
