# How to set up Password Policies

Follow the below steps to set up the password policy according to your organizational requirements.

1. Login to ZTrust Admin Console.
2. Go to Authentication.

3. Go to the Policies tab.

4. Click on Password policy.
5. Click on the dropdown for Add policy and select Expire Password.

| Field Name | Mandatory (Yes/No) | Field Type | Description                                        |
| ---------- | ------------------ | ---------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| Add Policy | Yes                | Dropdown   | Select the type where you want to add restrictions |

The following screen will be displayed with Policy Type as Expire Password and the Value can be changed.

6. Provide the Value as required. For example - 90

This Value is in days by default.

7. Click on Save.
8. Again click on the dropdown for Add Policy and select Minimum Length.

9. Provide the Minimum Length as required, for example - 8.

10. Click on Save.

Other options can be selected from the dropdown as required.

It can be customized according to the organization standards.
