Authenticator setup
Use this method if you’re registering your device for the first time via your organization's ZTrust SSO portal.
Prerequisites:
Initial device setup must be enabled by your organisation.
The ZTrust Authenticator app must be installed on your mobile.
Your device must have:
Camera access (for scanning QR code)
Internet access
Add account to authenticator
Visit your application in the browser.
Click on the Register button to register yourself, if you're not registered.
Provide the required details to create an account.
After submitting the form successfully, you will be redirected to a page that display a QR Code.
Open the ZTrust Authenticator app on your mobile device. If it is not installed, first download and install it. Then tap the "+" button to begin setup.
Scan the QR code displayed on the web browser. then ZTrust authenticator will generate an onboarding code.
Enter the onboarding code into the designated field on the browser page, then click Submit.
You are now successfully logged into the self-service portal of ZTrust.
On your mobile device, tap OK, confirm your password in the ZTrust Authenticator app, and complete the login process.
Your account will be successfully onboarded in the app.
Self-Service Portal Registration
Prerequisite:
The user must already exist in ZTrust SSO.
To register their mobile device, the user should log in to the ZTrust Self-Service Portal with their username/email and password.
The user logs in to the Self-Service Portal.
The landing page is the overview page, which contains four sections:
User Details Management
Device Management
Signing In
Applications
From here, go to Device Activity.
If no mobile device is registered, you will see a Set Up New button.
Click on it to begin the mobile registration process.
After clicking Set Up New, a popup will appear displaying a QR code along with clear instructions to complete the registration.
Open the ZTrust Authenticator app on your mobile device.
If the app is not installed, please download it from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and open.
Tap the “+” button to add a new account.
After tapping the “+” button, the app will open the scanner. Use it to scan the QR code displayed on the Self-Service Portal.
After a successful scan, the user will be prompted to a page where they must enter their username/email and password.
After successful validation, the user will be logged in to their account.
