4.4 Creation of a User

By default, any newly created realm in ZTrust does not contain any users, except for the master realm, which has the initial admin account. You need to manually create users for each realm as required.

Steps to create an User -

1. Open the ZTrust Admin Console.

2. Click on Manage realms on the top left corner.

3. Then select the realm that you created.

4. Click on Users in the left-hand menu.

5. Click on Create new user/ Add User.

1. Fill the required details

Field Name	Field Type	Mandatory (Yes/No)	Description
Username	Text Box	Yes	Enter the username of the user
Email	Text Box	Yes	Enter the preferred Email ID
First Name	Text Box	No	Enter the First Name of the user
Last Name	Text Box	No	Enter the Last Name or surname of the user

1. Click on Create.

Upon creation, a unique user ID will be automatically generated, and you will be redirected to the user details screen.

The user will need a password to login.

Setting the Initial Password:

1. Now click on Credentials at the top of the page.

1. Fill the Set Password form.

Field Name	Mandatory (Yes/No)	Field Type	Description
Password	Yes	Text	Enter the password for the user.
Password Confirmation	Yes	Text	Same password as mentioned above.
Temporary	Yes	Toggle	Turn it “OFF”, so that the user does not have to update the password after the first login.

1. Enter the password in the Password and Password Confirmation.

1. Click on Save.

1. Click on Save password.

Click on Users, and you can see the new User generated.
