Introduction

ZTrust 4.2.0 introduces a set of powerful new features and enhancements focused on improving consent management, developer integration, administrative visibility, and user experience.

This release brings a comprehensive Consent Management module, a developer-friendly Integration Guide, and a new Realm Overview section to provide better control and visibility within the platform. In addition, enhancements to the Self-Service Portal (SSP), including new themes, improved role request workflows, and updated authenticator interfaces, deliver a more modern and seamless user experience.

  1. Consent Management *New Feature

    A new Consent Management module has been introduced to enable organizations to define, manage, and track user consent for applications integrated with ZTrust.

    Key capabilities include:

    • Creation and management of consent definitions

    • ​Consent versioning with parent–child hierarchy

    • Activation of consents per application

    • Archiving and restoration of consents

    • ​User consent response tracking with contextual details, including device information, location, and timestamp

  2. Code Integration Guide *New Feature A new Code Integration Guide has been added to help developers integrate their applications with ZTrust more efficiently. The guide provides clear instructions along with ready-to-use code snippets, accessible directly from the Admin Console.

  3. Realm Overview Section *New Feature A Realm Overview section has been introduced in the Admin Console to provide administrators with a centralized view of key realm information and configurations.

    The section is organized into three areas:

    • ​User Activity – Provides an overview of user interactions and activity within the realm.

    • Security Information – Displays key security events such as brute-force attempts and geo-fencing violations.

    • ​Access & Roles – Provides a consolidated view of role requests, assignments, and group-related information.

  4. SSP Theme Selection in Admin Console *New Feature

    Administrators can now select and apply an SSP theme directly from the Admin Console. A dedicated configuration section has been added for this purpose, allowing administrators to browse available themes and preview them before applying through the Theme Preview tab.

  5. New SSP Theme *New Feature

    A new Self-Service Portal theme has been introduced, providing end users with a modernized and visually improved interface.

  6. Self Role Request Enhancements

    The Self Role Request feature in the Self-Service Portal (SSP) has been enhanced to improve the role request workflow and deliver a better user experience when requesting application or realm roles. Users can now view the real-time status of their submitted role requests, such as Requested, directly within the portal.

  7. Authenticator UI Enhancements

    Several user interface improvements have been made to the authenticator screens, delivering a cleaner visual design and improved usability across authentication flows.
