# 4.1 Version Information

### **Overview**

The **Version Page** in **ZTrust** provides information about the current **application version** and helps administrators check for the latest updates. It ensures users are aware of the version they are using and whether any **new updates** are available.

#### Page Details

| **Field**            | **Description**                                                                        |
| -------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Application Name** | Displays the name of the application. In this case, it is **ZTrust**.                  |
| **Current Version**  | Shows the currently installed version of ZTrust. **Example:** `V 4.1.4`.               |
| **Release Date**     | Indicates the official release date of the current version. **Example:** `08/26/2025`. |
| **Check Update**     | A button that allows the user to check if a **new version** is available.              |

### **Check Update Functionality**

The **Check Update** button enables administrators to verify whether a newer version of **ZTrust** is available.

* **If an update is available:**
  * A message or modal will appear indicating the **latest version** and providing an **option to update**.
  * Example:

    > “A new version **V 4.2.0** is available. Click **Update** to proceed.”
* **If no updates are available:**
  * A notification or message will confirm:

    > "You are using the latest version .”
