3.4 Cluster Overview

Kafka Cluster is a group of Kafka brokers that work together to store, manage, and distribute data. It provides scalability, fault tolerance, and high availability for Kafka applications.

This section of the Dashboard provides a detailed overview of the selected Kafka cluster from the list of created Kafka cluster. Users can view the cluster configuration and the current status of its brokers, topics, consumers, logs, and Kafka Connectors.

Key Components of the Kafka Cluster Displayed on the Dashboard Console:

a. Cluster Name: The unique name assigned to the Kafka cluster.

b. Environment: The deployment environment of the Kafka cluster

c. Kafka Version: The version of Apache Kafka running in the cluster.

d. Broker Count: The total number of active brokers in the Kafka cluster.

e. Partition: Key The total number of partitions across all topics in the cluster.

f. Topics: The total number of topics available in the Kafka cluster.

g. Produce: The total number or rate of messages published to Kafka by producers.

h. Consumer: The total number or rate of messages consumed from Kafka by consumers.

How to view a Specific Kafka Cluster: To view a specific Kafka Cluster, Click on the Cluster name link on the Kafka Cluster List. It will open the below sections of the cluster.
