# 3.2 Cluster Creation

Follow the steps below to create and configure a new Kafka cluster in LivestreamIQ.

Step 1: To create a Kafka Cluster, click on ‘**Add New Cluster**’ on the landing console. (Right top corner).

Step 2: After clicking the ‘Add New Cluster’ button, navigate to the ‘**Cluster Configuration**’ screen.

After clicking on the Add new cluster, the following needs to be configured.

* &#x20;Kafka Cluster
* Authentication
* Schema Registry
* Kafka Connect
* KSQL
* Metrics
